Thoughtfully restored and lovingly cared for, our cottage offers a cosy base from which to explore the stunning countryside, coastline, and history of South Ayrshire.

Who
we are

The Cottage at 59 was bought by Iona and Chris in 2022 and lovingly renovated to create a comfortable, welcoming place to stay.

Although they now live in Shetland, Colmonell has long been close to their hearts. The family connection to the village goes back generations, with Chris’s great-grandparents having been married in Colmonell church in the 1930s.

Returning to the village feels like coming home, and we hope our cottage offers the same sense of warmth and belonging to everyone who stays here.
